Purpose
This position is responsible for updating and maintaining all United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) program accounts at the Children of America child care centers.
Essential Duties
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. Review meal counts, roles call sheets and attendance sheets submitted by schools for accuracy and consistency
2. Review all USDA forms and Income Eligibility Statements (IES) for completeness and accuracy
3. Organize and maintain collected documents into notebooks for future reference
4. Build strong relationships by delivering "best in class" services which includes providing relevant information to management on a timely basis
5. Analyze invoices and reports for accuracy
6. Update center master lists daily
7. Collaborate with center management to ensure accurate and timely information is reported and collected
8. Ensure that all activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Children of America
9. Passionate about Children of America's mission and able to promote and communicate the philosophy, mission and values of Children of America to others.
Other Duties
Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operational Accounting
Supervision
Works under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Operational Accounting
This position does not supervise other personnel.

Work Experience
At least one year experience in an office environment
Education
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.

Intermediate MS Office
Intermediate desktop publishing and document management software
Working Conditions
Physical Work Demands
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the
Telephone, computer entry
Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
Mental Work Demands
Regular and on-time attendance
Hours may exceed 40 hours per week
